Roof renovations of the iconic BC Place Stadium replaced the old roof with a cable supported
retractable roof, the largest of its kind in the world. The cable and steel
structure supporting the roof is designed with a controllable starfield that stands
out in the Vancouver skyline. The utilization of illuminated, color-changing facades
allows the stadium to adapt like a chameleon to each stadium event.
