The Stacks at Buzzard Point transforms a former industrial waterfront into a pedestrian-centered district organized around the Corso, a curving public spine that connects residences, retail, gardens, and shared spaces. Light extends that sense of movement after dark, giving the public realm clarity and encouraging people to continue through the site on foot.
Suspended luminaires cross the Corso in shifting lines, forming a warm canopy above the car-free route while keeping the ground plane open. Closer to the landscape, slender column lights and bollards reveal pathways, planting, seating, and thresholds without overwhelming the brick architecture or nearby residences.
The lighting creates a continuous rhythm between more active gathering areas and quieter places of retreat. As the neighborhood continues to take shape, this first built chapter establishes a welcoming nighttime identity grounded in movement, connection, and public life.
