Brian has 15 years of experience in lighting design with a background in theater, dance, opera and museums. Since 2014, Brian contracted with CM KLING on several projects, including M&T Bank Stadium – home of the Baltimore Ravens. His expertise in lighting controls and systems programming led to a full-time position with CM KLING in November 2016.
His work was seen on-stage in Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland and New York including the Kennedy Center, the Lincoln Theater, the New Victory Theater, the Ailey Citigroup Theater and the CityDance Center at Strathmore. His work has been nominated for the Helen Hayes Award for Excellence in Lighting Design and the Metro DC Dance Awards.
Brian’s portfolio includes over 100 exhibits with the Smithsonian Institution including the National Portrait Gallery, American Art Museum, National Museum of the American Indian and the Renwick Gallery. He’s also worked lighting private collections, including Lockheed Martin, the National Institutes of Health and the National Civil Rights Museum.
